Nivea Sponsors Australia's Next Top Model Cycle 6

Nivea, the world’s number one skin and beauty care brand has been announced as a major sponsor of Australia’s Next Top Model Cycle Six (ANTM6). Last year’s ANTM5 winner Tahnee Atkinson will represent Nivea Visage as the face of the campaign.

The sponsorship will focus on getting to know the real girls including how well they look after their skin in preparation for casting calls and photo shoots. Viewers of the show will also be able to track the girls “model behaviour” progress via a leader board online, which will highlight girls who have performed well in their challenges and have been behaving in a positive way in the competition.

Nivea General Manager of Marketing, Julia Braun states, “We are thrilled to be associated with Australia’s Next Top Model Cycle Six. The show enables Nivea Visage to connect to its audience via a relevant and aspirational platform. Skin is a model’s most valuable asset. With constant re-application of make up and cleansing, a model’s skin is under a lot of stress. Nivea Visage products are gentle, caring, yet effective. Nivea Visage is a perfect fit to model’s skincare routine”.

The Nivea Visage sponsorship will extend to online content, in-show integration and trade activation throughout the 11-week Cycle on FOX8. Nivea has launched a microsite featuring weekly beauty tips from Tahnee Atkinson and webisodes.

Australia’s Next Top Model is a format of America’s Next Top Model, created by international supermodel Tyra Banks. The Cycle follows 16 contestants through a Cycle of model-type challenges where one girl will ultimately be crowned Australia’s Next Top Model. The show airs on Fox 8 from 20th July 2010, Tuesdays at 7:30.
