A Day In The Life of an Estée Lauder Model

The Bride's Diary® are excited to share with you the first in a series of 'Day in the Life of an Estée Lauder Model' videos that will feature Estée Lauder Spokesmodels.

Constance Jablonski, hailing from Lille, has quickly made a name for herself in the fashion and beauty industry. Constance was discovered after her brother wrote to a modelling agency in Paris and politely explained that, in his humble opinion, his sister was one of the most beautiful girls in France. And although she only cared about her schooling and tennis team, he felt that she would make an incredible fashion model. After perusing her brother's convincing letter, an agency quickly invited Constance to Paris and signed her to a modeling contract.

In September of 2008, Constance was allowed to move to New York City under strict parental orders that she had one year to decide and prove herself in this business – otherwise she was off to college next fall to study and play tennis. Not faltering the hopes of her supporters, Constance made an impressive debut season walking for designers like Rodarte, Donna Karan, Dries Van Noten, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Nina Ricci, and Vivienne Westwood. She then went on to be handpicked by Joe McKenna to shoot the single girl TSE campaign, photographed by Willy Vanderperre.

Constance has since established herself as a highly sought-after fashion model in the industry, shooting editorials and campaigns with the most prominent fashion photographers in the world, including Steven Meisel, David Sims, Inez and Vinoodh, Mikael Jansson, Mario Sorrenti, Craig McDean and Patrick Demarchelier. In 2010, Constance made her debut on the Victoria’s Secret runway, a feat that elevated her status to an even higher level.

In 2010, Constance became the first French model to be signed by cosmetics giant Estée Lauder as their latest spokesmodel, adding yet another giant accomplishment to her prolific career. Regarding the notable collaboration, Aerin Lauder commented that, “Estée Lauder has always searched for global beauties that define a generation. Constance [is one of the] beauties of our time.” Constance’s first campaign for Estée Lauder debuted in May 2010 for “Pure Color Night,” an exclusive makeup collection for Paris, created by Tom Pecheux, Creative Makeup Director, Estée Lauder. Since then, Constance has been featured in the ‘Beautiful’ and pleasures fragrance campaigns. Her first campaign with fellow Estée Lauder spokesmodels Liu Wen and Joan Smalls debuted in July 2011.

Several years into this business, Constance has become successful enough to earn the respect of fashion editors from the most prestigious magazines in the world. Even more importantly to Constance, however, she has earned the respect and support of her family, who have enjoyed watching her grow into a successful model and a coveted face in fashion.

“This is one of the most exciting products I’ve worked with in a long time. It’s so versatile and gives great results on every hair type. Here are a few tips for getting the most out of your Innova Wonder Treatment:

On dry, curly and coloured hair: Spray onto wet hair and blow dry all through. This treatment really helps the styling process and smoothes the cuticle to leave even frizzy hair really soft and smooth, with no build up or sticky texture.

On fine limp hair: Apply to damp hair then blow-dry while lifting at the roots. This achieves fabulous volume in no time, leaving the hair bouncy and shiny with a weightless texture.

On very damaged hair: Even hair that needs extra special care can really benefit from Innova Wonder Treatment. It acts as a leave-in moisture spray to help de-tangle broken ends, with the added bonus of UV filter for sun protection.”

Estée Lauder/Anthony Vaccarello Fall 2013 Runway Show

Estée Lauder has officially sponsored the beauty look at the Anthony Vaccarello Fall 2013 show, which took place at the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild on Tuesday, February 26th at 6:00pm. This marks the third season that the brand has participated in Paris Fashion Week. For the show, Estée Lauder’s Creative Make-up Director Tom Pecheux led a team of 12 make-up artists to create the look on models, including Estée Lauder’s Global Spokesmodel Liu Wen - while manicurist Christina Conrad and her team used nail lacquers from the upcoming Pure Color Vivid Shine collection to create
the nail look.

French make-up artist Tom Pecheux is highly sought after for his sophisticated take on Parisian glamour. Throughout a stellar career spanning three decades, he has consistently worked with the finest fashion photographers in the field’s history, such as Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Sorrenti, Peter Lindbergh, Craig McDean, Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Believing that makeup should flatter rather than conceal or embellish, he is highly sought after as a creative consultant and has advised at many of the world’s leading beauty brands.

“Anthony Vaccarello's collection is bold, graphic, a strong statement in black and white. I created a monochromatic makeup look with a strong focus on lips, using deep burgundy, and repeated it on lids for moody eyes. This intense pop of color is striking against perfectly matte skin, pale and translucent.” – Tom Pecheux, Estée Lauder Creative Makeup Director.
